Benefits of Personal Training in San Diego:
3 Reasons to Train with Me
Personal training in San Diego is increasing in popularity as people become more health-conscious. Some people are self-starters and can motivate themselves to stay on track when it comes to working out. Others benefit from having someone to help them gear up for their workouts and ensure they stay on track with their goals. If you fall into the latter category, you may want to consider investing in personal training in San Diego.
Is It Worth It to Get Personal Training?
The benefits of personal training are vast. Personal trainers will help you set realistic goals and create an effective workout plan to help you reach them. An essential aspect of weight lifting is ensuring proper form. Trainers help you do that to prevent an injury or start working out post-injury. They will also provide ongoing support and encouragement to keep you on track. In addition, personal trainers can offer expert guidance on nutrition and other health-related topics. If you feel stuck in your workout plan, and you don’t see the results you desire, it may be time to invest in personal training.
How Often Should You See a Personal Trainer?
Depending on your fitness goals, you may benefit from seeing a personal trainer once or twice a week, every other week, or even just a few times a month. If you’re new to exercise or trying to make significant changes to your routine, regularly meeting with a trainer can help you stay on track and avoid injuries. However, if you’re already relatively active and are just looking for occasional guidance, meeting with a trainer less often may be sufficient.
Ultimately, the best way to determine how often you should see a trainer is to ask yourself how much accountability and support you need to reach your goals. If you need regular check-ins to stay motivated, meeting with a trainer more frequently may be the best option for you. I encourage all my personal training clients to work with me once or twice a week. If we work together once a week, we’ll do a full-body workout. If we work together twice a week, we’ll do one upper body workout and one lower body workout. On the days we don’t train together, I suggest my clients do the workouts I write for them in my ALFitCrew App. I encourage clients to do 2-4 strength workouts a week and an hour of cardio.
How Much Does Personal Training in San Diego Cost?
You have options when it comes to selecting a San Diego personal trainer to help you achieve your fitness goals. However, you get what you pay for. Personal training is an investment in your immediate and long-term health and happiness. An experienced personal trainer will charge between $120-$180 per hour. Customized programs may cost more. However, they can also be a great investment for those serious about achieving their fitness goals. Each trainer comes with unique pricing and benefits that make them worth the cost. I don’t suggest looking for a discount trainer or using a “health coach” you find on Instagram. There are many people who promote themselves as fitness trainers even though they are not certified to train people safely.
3 Benefits of Personal Training in San Diego with Ashley Lane Fitness
I’ve been in the fitness industry long enough to know not every trainer offers the same quality of service. There is a lot of misinformation out there, with social media fitness influencers and health buffs selling programs and products that aren’t necessarily healthy or beneficial. I’ve made health and fitness my lifestyle, and I help other women do the same.
2. I Am a 4x (soon to be 5x) Certified Personal Trainer
It is essential to choose a personal trainer who is certified through an accredited personal training program. I have my CPT (certified personal training) certification and CES (corrective exercise specialist) certification through NASM–one of the highest-rated companies in the industry. I also have my 200-hour Corepower Yoga certification, Lagree Pilates certification, and am in the process of completing my Pre and Post Natal Fitness certification.
